I've been amused....and sometimes admittedly chastened.... by your cranky posts. I find myself in Target, Ikea, or *gasp* The Maul (misspelling mine) and often wonder why it is seen as entertainment! But then, that IS how we're going to get the economy back on board right? Buying everything from the picnic plastic tumbler set in 'the latest' color of green to the matchy matchy placemats! ;)
I went from living in a ol funky neighborhood in SE Portland to suburban hell on the edge of Happy Valley (I kid you not...take your valium girls!) and all the trappings of marriage and kids....but I stll cherish my collection of back to the land books and have a penchant for ol bookstores and thrifting!
